Now back to our regular programming.

I incorporated into an LLC today and applied for my EIN through the IRS.  I'm just waiting for my employer ID so I can begin working for various companies from the comfort of my home answering tech questions and/or selling "crap".  It's actually a pretty cool setup but does take a bit of money to get started.  I'm doing all of this through Arise.
I decided that 24 years of working as a nurse was enough, it's time for that 'career change'.  The interesting thing is I can try to convince individuals to come to work for me.  All they have to do is take the certification course, but then it gets complicated.  So, maybe I'll just stay in this by myself.
Actually this could fit in perfectly with our plans to move to Spain.  I'm going to have to look into that.  I know most of the agents who answer your calls are not located in a 'call center' (that was an old trend), but I believe they are physically located in the US.  Could they do the same to a number to a number in Spain?  I'll let you know what I find out.

A word about Arise (www.arise.com). They present this pretty picture of how wonderful life will be with them and then reality sets in. You try for job postings and they tell you that they are unavailable as you have not taken the correct preliminary classes (although you already have)!
Try to talk to an actual person to get anything straightened out--impossible. Even though they have a support line that you can call, all you get is somebody who tells you to email this or that department. You send your email and it never gets answered. So you're stuck with what THEY want you to do and there is no personal choice.
My advice: beware of sites like this. They will be more than happy to take your money, but as for REAL help or REAL support, it's just not there.
